BEGINNING WEB DESIGN

Are you interested in learning how to build a webpage? We are happy to offer this beginner level course for the individual that would like to learn how to build a simple web page from scratch. You will learn the basics of HTML, the code that makes up many websites throughout the Internet, and how you can apply it to the various areas of your life. Do you need a website for your business? Would you like an online scrapbook for your family? There are many ways to use HTML, from business to home, or just for fun. Register now for this exciting new course. (6 hours)

PHP and MySQL DATABASE APPLICATIONS

PHP and MySQL are often teamed up to create dynamic web applications. In this class you will see how to create a database driven application of your own. We will cover how to install MySQL, build databases and Tables, and work with those tables. You will then learn how to use PHP to access the data in the tables and then create web-based applications. Class is taught on the Windows platform, but is directly applicable to Linux and Unix systems. Prerequisite: PHP Level 1 or equivalent. Textbook included. (16 hours)
