WORD FOR WINDOWS 1

Covers basic word processing terminology and concepts: document creation, retrieval and basic edit functions; character and page formatting techniques and printing. The basic uses of the spell check and thesaurus are covered. Prerequisite: Windows experience. Textbook included. (6 hours)

WORD FOR WINDOWS 2

You will use the Find feature to locate text in a document and to use fill-in-the blanks forms; use the Replace feature to locate and replace both text and formatting (tabs); experiment with borders and shading; create newspaper columns for newsletters, routing slips, cc lists and phone lists; format a document in portrait or landscape. Prerequisite: Word Level 1 or comparable experience. Textbook included. (6 hours)
